Procurement & IT Manager | ERP Application Lead | Business Analysis | Focus ERP & Odoo
I am Jainul Abdeen, a procurement and IT professional based in Doha, Qatar. I combine international purchasing, inventory and logistics experience with ERP application support and business systems improvement.
Procurement and operations
I work as Procurement & IT Manager at Tyres and Equipment Centre (Altayeb Group), a role I have held since June 2016. Previously, I served as Admin & IT Manager from April 2015 to May 2016. My work covers supplier coordination, quotation comparison, commercial negotiations, purchase planning, purchase orders, shipment follow-up and import documentation for tyres, batteries and automotive equipment.
I coordinate with suppliers, warehouse, sales, finance and logistics teams to support stock availability and purchasing decisions. My experience includes LC, CAD and TT payment documentation, freight follow-up, customs coordination and GCC certification requirements.
ERP and business systems
Within my current role, I serve as ERP application lead and business systems coordinator. I coordinate business requirements, vendor discussions, testing and user support for the company's Odoo ERP project across procurement, inventory, warehouse, finance, sales and service operations.
My experience includes requirements analysis, process mapping, functional documentation, UAT and regression testing, issue tracking, master data support, access requirements and user training. I implemented a purchasing-plan module in Focus ERP to support ordering and stock planning, and continue to use Focus ERP historical information. ERP reports, SQL Server knowledge and Excel help me connect operational needs with practical system improvements.
Website, IT infrastructure and administration
Alongside procurement, I hold sole responsibility for managing the company’s ERP applications, including Focus ERP and Odoo, and coordinating its website and IT operations.
I manage the Altayeb website, make minor updates myself, and handle contracts and coordination with external developers for larger changes. My IT responsibilities cover more than 16 branches, warehouses and the head office, including CCTV systems and employee attendance machines. I also manage administrative work, connecting operational requirements with the systems and service providers that support the business.
Software development background
Before moving into procurement and IT management, I worked in application development in the UAE, Nepal and India, including roles at Chipin Corporation, Braindigit IT Solution and Insylabs. My background includes ASP.NET, C#, SQL Server, JavaScript and business applications for procurement, telecom invoicing, e-commerce and online booking.
International experience: UAE and Kathmandu
Application Developer — Chipin Corporation, United Arab Emirates
I developed business applications using ASP.NET, C#, SQL Server, JavaScript, CSS, DevExpress and Telerik. My work included KallGauge R4 for telecom invoice management and Orsini, a supply and procurement application for a UAE client. This experience helped me connect software development with practical business requirements.
Software Engineer and Senior Software Engineer — Braindigit IT Solution, Kathmandu, Nepal
I worked on .NET applications and contributed to e-commerce and online booking projects, including Chemworld Fragrance Factory and Cine-de Chef.
